The Pan African Congress Movement (PACM) is pleased to bring you its 44th year of continuous Africa Liberation Day (ALD) commemorations. The theme for this year PACM ALD is: TOTAL LIBERATION OF AFRICA KNOW!  ALD was founded in 1958 by Dr Nkwame Nkrumah on the occasion of the First Conference of Independent States held in Ghana. This symbolised the determination of the people of continental Africa and those in the African diaspora to free themselves from colonialism, settler colonialism, imperialism and exploitation. ALD is a time for the  coming together of African people on the continent and in the African  diaspora to find ways and means to work on common problems and find common solutions in a way that best benefit  African people. This event will be held over two days (26/5/19  –  27/5 19) at Saint Georges Community Hub, Birmingham, B19 3JG.
