Description

Come and dine and discuss with us!

MindSight Collective is curating the best dining experiences that Black restaurants have to offer in London but with a twist. This is not just about mingling but creating a safe space for members of the Black community (despite any differences we may have) to discuss different topics that are important to us that will help us come up with solutions. There will be lots of networking opportunities to make connections with other individuals, organisations and businesses.

Our Dine and Discuss bi-monthly events aren’t stuffy, and neither are our guests. It’s a fun environment where you can come by yourself and walk out with friends and even business partnerships. The topics will be different every time we meet. Social starts at 6pm to break the ice, make our orders, introduce the topic and let our special guest take the floor! Sometimes we will have a mini-workshop or activities. Then at 7pm, we dine and discuss until our bellies are full with great food, our hearts full of hope, and phone full of new contacts! Let us come together and provide inspiration, knowledge and support for each other in this sociable and intimate dinner. Be prepared to openly share your experiences and knowledge; helping each other grow and unify. We’re creating experiences that support the members of the community to learn, connect and build better relationships. So what are you waiting for?

HOST – Seb Green, Activist at MindSight Collective TOPIC – BLACK COMMUNITY. We will be discussing:

    • The state of the Black community
    • How can we be inclusive
    • Gentrification or Geo-politics?
    • Diaspora disconnect
    • Activism: Making a change
