On Saturday 13th April 2019, our group of committed, compassionate and caring men and women are putting on a conference to establish, explore and then transform the State of the Black Man.
With increasing numbers of men suffering from challenges: family, finances, relationships, professional and more; which has led to increasing numbers of men causing harm to themselves and others, it’s time to act. People don’t want to see current and potential fathers committing suicide, estranging themselves from their families or committing crimes and ending up incarcerated.
This inaugural event will explore the theme: Where has the Black Man’s L.O.V.E gone? This will allow us to determine, and then direct, black men to:
- LEAD themselves, their families and in their community
- ORGANISE their lives and collectively unite for positive change to take place
- Develop a VISION for how they can improve their individual and collective futures
- Then EMPOWER them to make this all happen.
The talks, workshops and discussions are all designed to give black men, and those that care about the mental and emotional wellbeing of black men, an opportunity to explore the causes and solutions to the present challenges. The sessions will be led and facilitated by experts in:
- Psychotherapy and Counselling
- Financial Management and Professional Development
- Life Coaching
- Much more
Although we will have 150 amazing people join us on the day, our mission is to transform the lives of over 1,000 Black Men in this first year so the only thing you need to decide is … will you help us use L.O.V.E to improve the State of the Black Man?
Bookings are closed for this event.
